Phil helped me de-clutter my 8-year-old iMac, which had slowed to a crawl and was hanging in every browser. He also helped me organize my dysfunctional collection of bookmarks and suggested a way forward toward a clean install he said is necessary due to too many layers of old operating systems and other conflicts that have prevented me from using my Disk Utility. I approached Phil after inheriting a Mac Pro (Mid-2010) and a Mac Mini. I had multiple issues with various upgrades, including CPU and GPU, and Phil helped me resolve many of these issues with great advice and a wealth of knowledge. I'm a veteran of Windows since 1.0 (yeah, even before Win/286), but macOS was giving me some issues — due to unique hardware and compliance issues. After a few exchanges and a bit of time, I had High Sierra, Mojave and Windows 10 Pro all running on the Mac Pro, along with a host of photography, video and audio hardware and software — and was surfing the net without issue. I'm no slouch, but Phil is obviously a professional who has the experience, and the ability to provide "just the right" answers.

Phil walked me through a decision I needed to make regarding the use of an older Mac that could no longer be upgraded. Following our conversation I purchased a new M1 Mac mini and am very pleased having a go-to guy at the ready. Phil was also very generous with what he billed me — he got me unstuck. Phil was responsive, patient, knowledgeable and super helpful. I had a challenge with a nearly 10-year-old Mac that required some pretty heavy Terminal command line skill. After struggling with it for a few days I found Phil. In 45 minutes on the phone, he helped me figure out exactly how to address the issue and I was well on my way to having things fixed!
